Scottish indie pop band Chvrches have announced their fourth studio album, Screen Violence, and released the second single from the LP.
The single, “How Not to Drown,” features The Cure‘s Robert Smith, who instrumentalist Martin Doherty described as a major influence during a recent interview with Apple Music‘s Zane Lowe.
Chvrches previously released “He Said She Said” as the lead single from Screen Violence, which will be a follow-up to their 2018 album Love Is Dead.
The band also announced a 28-date North American tour in support of the album, with trek featuring multiple nights in Austin, New York, and San Diego.
Screen Violence is set to drop on August 27 via Glassnote Records, while the tour will begin on November 9 in Houston. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 11, at 10 a.m. local time.
